Dear parents and carers,
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our first transition session on Tuesday, 13th October.
Please note that this is not your child’s final class group.
Parent sign-in will begin at 8:55am and will take place at the front of our Prep building. Please be mindful of parking and our designated ‘Kiss and Go’ areas. School begins at 8:45am for our current students, so arriving after this time may make parking and access a little easier.
When you arrive, please look for the clearly marked tables, where you will sign your child in. You will then be able to walk your child to their classroom for the session.
Once you have dropped off your child, our Principal, Mark Henderson, will be available in the school library to answer any questions you may have. You will also receive your Compass login details at this time. All future information, including upcoming transition sessions, important 2027 dates, uniform information and more, will be shared through Compass.
Our school nurse, Jenny Sinclair, will also be available in the library to discuss any medications or medical action plans that you may need to provide.
A coffee van will be onsite each week, so you are welcome to grab a hot drink and have a chat with other parents and carers while you wait.
Students will be ready to be collected at approximately 9:45am. Please collect and sign your child out at their classroom door.
Your child does not need to bring anything with them for the transition sessions. Drink taps are easily accessible from the classrooms.
We are aware that not all families have received the initial email with our transition dates. All sessions will be held at the same time of day. Here are the dates for the remainder of the year:

Students will not be in their final class groups until the final Statewide Transition session on December 8th.
